Abstract

Durability resistance at the section corner is relatively weak in the concrete bridge, therefore, the section corner is the key place of the durability maintenance. A method is recommended by spreading on surface at the section corner with paint for durability maintenance of the concrete bridge. Based on the calculation results of carbonized depth by painting Phenolic Aldehyde on the three sort traditional corner form of section, it is shown that the method may extend the durability life of the structures very much. According to these results, the maintenance suggestion is proposed.
