1. The inhibitory effect of decoctionof Lysimachia sp. on two strains of TypeA_2 influenza virus was observed inchicken embryo. The result showed dis-tinct inhibitory effect on both strains in75% dilution of the drug and the infec-tive dose of the virus being 60EId_(50). 2. The inhibitory effect in "Virus-Drug" and "Drug-Virus" groups showedno significant difference as to whetherthe virus suspension or the drug wasgiven first. 3. When the drug decoction wasinjected into yolk sac, sixty minutes afterinjection of virus into allantoic sac,persistence of the inhibitory effect onboth strains of influenza virus wasobserved. 4.
