BirgittaHeiller, Ph.D. (psychology), M.Sc. (psychotherapy), is joining the TAJ as one of the three coeditors. She is a Teaching and Supervising Transactional Analyst with a private psychotherapy and supervision practice, as well as her own clinical training program based in Guildford, Surrey, England. Born and raised in Vienna, Austria, she has lived in several countries, eventually settling in the United Kingdom in 1993. Being part ofthe worldwide transactional analysis network provided a welcome and necessary sense of belonging during her years of travel, and she still feels strongly about TA's international connections. Birgitta enjoys the balance between its community spirit and academic excellence and is committed to promoting this powerful combination in the wider world of psychotherapy. For the past 4 years she has been delivering training in Romania to a vibrant and enthusiastic group ofnew students of transactional analysis.
