Abstract
Dynamics of amount and bio-chemical activity of microorganism were measured in the rhizosphere soil of the pure and mixed stands of poplar and black locust in spring, summer and autumn. The results show that the amount and bio-chemical activity of microorganism in the rhizosphere soil were increased in the mixed stand, especially the amount of nitrobacteria, the activity of nitration, the amount of bacteria decomposing inorganic phosphorus and the activity of phosphorylation. We conclude that the transformation of nitrogen and phosphorus were improved in the mixed stands, and it is favorable for tree growing.
