Abstract

The index system to evaluate local tourism sustainable development as usual is one-dimensional linear by plus all targets.An assessment model of local tourism sustainable development by two-dimension is proposed.The tourism sustainable development of Zhangjiajie is evaluated by the new model.The results show the tourism of Zhangjiajie is in a state of sustainable development by and large.The local natural environment can support tourism sustainable development.But it is limited by the local society.
