Objective To investigate the effects of the colorectal cancer screening in the experimental community of Beijing,trying to analyze the existing problems,and then put forward some improving proposals.Methods Four experimental communities selected in Beijing were divided into function community and life community according to the different community type.Different models were taken in carrying on colorectal cancer screening in these communities and then the existing problems were analyzed.Results The total number of population who are consistent with condition of the screening in the four communities were 32 010,of which 14978 people participated the screening.The total rate of screening participating was 46.79%,and lack rate of screening participating 15.37%Conclusion The effects of colorectal cancer screening in the experimental communities of Beijing are basically satisfying.However,there are still some organizational difficulties and problems of low compliance in the screening work that has to be improved in the future.
