Abstract

Heterosis in crops is a complicated quantitative trait.Molecular markers can be used to estimate the genetic difference between the parents,further to some extent to predict heterosis in crops.By increasing the number of special markers related to heterosis and selecting parental materials from the same heterosis population,the accuracy of crop heterosis prediction can be improved.The genetic mechanism of heterosis in crops is still needed to be deeply studied.
