The document proposes a portable processing and digital imaging system of spheroid fruits. A methodology of 6 stages is presented; ranging from survey data (color and volume measurement of fruits), implementation of digital filters, color (CIE L * a * b *) and volume calculation using conversion algorithms for its interpretation. The system represents a viable, economic, flexible, reliable and non-destructive option for the analysis of certain study traits (color and volume), which could be a useful and accessible tool for field or lab work. Preliminary results are highly satisfactory; volume yielded a determination coefficient (r2) of 0.9796; color conversion is reliable since L* and a* results are similar in conventional equipment.
