Abstract
The objective of this work is to evaluate the satisfaction of the students of the Tourism Career of the University of Matanzas with their training process in the 2018-2019 academic year. For this, the satisfaction survey that the Ministry of Higher Education applies once a year in all the university centers of the country is used. To this survey, as many columns as subjects are taught per academic year are added. The results obtained quantitatively show that student satisfaction ranges from 52% to 95%. As for the qualitative results and main suggestions are: more language training and longer hours of work practice. Based on the results obtained, it is determined that the applied survey is very general, making it difficult to obtain data that indicates the presence of possible improvements, which is why an investigation is carried out and a new survey is proposed to evaluate the satisfaction.
