Abstract

The spectrum of the masses of vector and pseudoscalar mesons is considered in a quasi-relativistic pennyial quark model. The starting point is the system of the Rariti-Schwinger equations. As a quark antiquark potential, QCD is a motivated potential with a mixed Lorentz structure. Good results are obtained for superfine splitting for heavy quark systems without the use of perturbation method.
