Sigma filtering is an edge preserving filtering method,the traditional sigama filtering can remove noise, while keeping the image edge to a certain extent, but there are still some problems about the weak edge image. Combined with the gradient inverse weighted idea,put forward the sigma filtering and gradient inverse filtering method, for the non noise points of the image, through the gradient inverse weighted average to calculate the gray value, remove the noise at the same time, can maintain more edge details. The experimental results show that, the sigma filtering and gradient inverse filtering method has good edge preserving effect.
