Abstract
Based on the local compression damage festures of the bearing wall of raw-soil structure houses,authors put forward the local reinforcement measures for the raw-soil stucture houses.Two test pieces were designed,one set up 3 backing plates of different sizes,another had no plate,then 4 tests of the local compession were done under the action of concentrated load.The damage process,the damage form,the ultimate local compression capacity of the wall,the curve of load and displacement are contrasted and analyzed,the influence on local compression capacity of different sizes of plate is studied.Experiments showed that setting up the reasonable size backing plates at the local pressure parts of the adobe wall will avoid the vertical cracks under the action of concentrated load,and increase in the size of plate will improve the local compression capacity,but if the size of plate is too large,the local compression capacity won't be improved,the suggestion is that the size of plate should be 2~3 times of beam breadth.When the vertical cracks appear,there are some local reiforcement measures,which would improve the housing stress condition and provide practical technology for the reinforcement and reconstruction of the raw-soil structure houses.
