Abstract

Observations are reported for Cn 1-1 (=HD 330036). This object is one of many that have been classified both as a symbiotic star and a planetary nebula. The purpose of this study is to investigate the physical properties and evolutionary status of Cn 1-1. It is concluded that Cn 1-1 is a dense planetary nebula in a binary system.
