We conducted an experimental study of the diagnosis of anemia due to eyelid conjunctiva using hyperspectral images for application in a telecare system. The results show that the quantitative distinction of anemia is possible based on an estimation of the amount of hemoglobin-derived pigment in the 510–600 nm band.

Hyperspectral images can accurately diagnose anemia due to eyelid conjunctiva using hemoglobin-derived pigment in the 510-600 nm band, making it a promising tool for telecare systems.
