Abstract
The architect Domingo de Andrade and the old Town Hall of Santiago de Compostela (1689-1690) Chronicle, uses and celebrations of a building The old Town Hall of Santiago de Compostela in Cervantes Square is the oldest municipal seat kept in Galicia. It was built between 1689 and 1690 and its plans were drawn by Domingo de Andrade, the Master Builder of the Cathedral and the best architect of Galician Baroque during the 17th century, who is the protagonist of the Baroque transformation of the city. We study it in the following pages which are illustrated by computer-generated pictures of original look of its two façades and first distribution of its plan.
