Comparison on the curative effects of arthroscopic meniscal repair through the method of absorbable meniscus arrow,Fas T-Fix system suture and Outside-in suture

Abstract
Objective To compare the curative effects between absorbable meniscus arrow( AMA),Fas T-Fix system suture and Outside-in suture on the treatment of arthroscopic meniscal repair. Methods 70 patients with meniscus injuries were treated by arthroscopic surgery,18 cases were treated through outside-in suture for their meniscus injuries,24 cases were treated through AMA suture for their meniscus injuries,28 cases were treated through Fas T-Fix suture system. The operation time,amount of blood loss,the time in hospital,postoperative signs clinical healing rate and Lysholm knee joint scores were compared among the 3 groups Results All 70 cases were followed up for12 ~ 45 months. There was statistical difference in the aspects of the blood loss and operation time between of Fas TFix system suture and Outside-in suture( P 0. 001),and between of AMA suture and Outside-in suture( P 0. 001),but there was no statistical difference in the aspects of the blood loss and operation time between of AMA suture and Fas T-Fix suture( P 0. 05),There was no statistical difference in the aspects of the time in hospital and postoperative signs among 3 groups( P 0. 05). There was statistical difference in the Lysholm knee joint scores in the aspects of postoperation and preoperation among 3 groups( P 0. 001). There was statistical difference in the Lysholm knee joint scores between of Outside-in suture and AMA sutre,Fas T-Fix suture( P 0. 001); There was no statistical difference in the Lysholm knee joint scores between of AMA suture and Fas T-Fix suture( P 0. 05). Conclusions Compared with Outside-in suture method,AMA,Fas T-Fix system suture method has better short-term clinical curative effect on the meniscal injury,and there is easy to operative with shorter operative time. At present,Fas T-Fix suture is safe and effective operation technology on the treatment of arthroscopic meniscal repair.
