Abstract
Spray deodorants are presented as another example of the innovation of the drug subculture in its persistent search for escape through the world of chemistry. The accuracy of the folklore as exemplified by the difference between the two products described and the rapidity with which the new idea is transmitted through the subculture necessitates communication to the medical profession in order to alert it to the problems in dealing with this hallucinogenic experience.
