Abstract

New data on anatomy, biology. seed morphology, ecology and nomenclature of Halopeplis amplexicoulis (Vahl) Cesati & al. are presented; this species is the only Iberian representative of the genus Halopeplis Ung.-Sternb. ( Salicorniaceae ). For the first time the whole genus pollen structure is described and chromosome number is reported.
