Abstract
The more evenly distributed the fluid entering the carrier of catalytic converter in the exhaust pipe,the better results of catalysis and transformation can be got.The expanding angle of the catalytic converter is the key factor influencing whether the fluid entering the carrier of catalytic converter can be distributed evenly.By ANSYS software,the simulation model is established to show how the different expanding angles affect the velocity′s distribution under different velocities,and offers some useful information that will benefit the design of catalytic converter.
