Abstract
The electron paramagnetic resonance in the TiCl4 + triisobutylaluminum catalytic system in an isopentane solution with an excess of an organoaluminum compound has revealed the effect of the removal of orbital ordering upon interaction with piperylene. In this interaction, the EPR spectra of alkylated isolated Ti3+ ions in the ground 3d1 states were detected.
Study Snapshot
Removal of orbital ordering in TiCl4 + triisobutylaluminum catalysts leads to a decrease in the polymerization of diene compounds, affecting the EPR spectra of alkylated Ti3+ ions.
