Abstract
Objective To investigate the effect of antibiotics combined with Fuke Qianjin Tablets for acute pelvic inflammatory disease. Methods 132 patients with acute pelvic inflammatory disease admitted to our hospital between May 2013 and March 2014 were randomized into control group and observation group with 66 in each one. Patients in the control group underwent intravenous infusion of penicillin and metronidazole(twice a day), based on which those in the observation group were given Fuke Qianjin Tablets. After one course of treatment(10 days), the efficacies and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate(100% vs 86.34%) was significant higher in the observation group than in the control group with statistical difference,(χ2=6.359,P 0.05); no statistically significant difference can be found in adverse reaction rate between the two groups [10.61%(7/66)vs 12.12%(8/66); χ2=0.782,P0.05].Conclusion Antibiotics combined with Fuke Qianjin Tablets is worthy of promotion in the treatment of patients with acute pelvic inflammatory disease due to its remarkable effect.
