Abstract

This paper intends to introduce the Virtual reality(VR) technique into urban cadastral infor- mation system (UCIS). It also covers the component of VR, its hardware and software as well. In addi- tion, two methods which apply VR technique into urban three dimensional modeling are put forth. Fi- nally, some examples of UCIS spatial analysis and inquiry in the environment of VR are also given.
