Amidst the farm fields and haystacks of Fulton County, Ohio, rolls of reprocessed steel are now rolling off the production line at one of the nation's newest steel facilities. Located on a 750-acre site, the $472-million North Star BHP Steel Limited plant can produce up to four thousand tons of steel a day and employs approximately 350 people. While the facility stands as a shining example of economic development at its best, regional cooperation made it all possible.
