Abstract
Frankincense has the pharmacological effects such as analgesic,anti-inflammatory,antitumor,antioxidant and has been widely used in clinical.This paper summarized the research progress of frankincense from chemical composition,pharmacological effects,clinical application and adverse reactions through reviewing the literatures in recent years,providing some reference for the further development and utilization of frankincense.
