Abstract
The data of human activities and circumstances are important factor for the system-of-systems engineering (SoSE) with human centered systems. A small device that can collect a lot of data of the human conditions and circumstances by using various MEMS (Micro Electro Mechanical Systems) sensors is very useful device to monitor the human accidents or troubles. This study demonstrates a prototype development of a multipurpose human-data acquisition system that can measure various time-based data e.g. 3-axis acceleration, humidity, pressure, temperature, ECG, and microphone, simultaneously. The measured data are stored in a micro SD card memory or transmitted from the Bluetooth RF module via an onboard microcontroller, which will be help for data analysis. The detailed configurations of the prototype device and some experimental results are also shown.
