Based on the 2001—2012 panel data of 30 provinces in Chinese mainland,we explored the real effects that the financial development to the export of small and medium-sized enterprises-from the three angles of financial scale,financial structure and financial efficiency in China. The results show that: financial scale has a significant negative impact on the expansion of the scale of export. Financial structure has a positive effect on the export of small and medium-sized enterprises. And financial efficiency has no significant impact on export of small and medium-sized enterprises. In addition,the government financial expenditure and foreign direct investment have significantly promoted the export of small and medium-sized enterprises. But the infrastructure,to a certain extent,inhibits the export.
