Abstract
As a test pattern,PRBS(Pseudo Random Binary Sequence) is widely used in high-speed Bit Error Rate Test(BERT).A synchronization method for BERT is proposed based on the principle of parallel PRBS generation.According to the result of simulation and test,the system is synchronized with a very short time,simple structure and low consumption of resources with this method.The method was been applied to the testing of 2G OFDM-PON system.
