Training is an important component of HRD in human resource management. It covers all functional areas of management and plays a significant role in increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of human performance. Many organizations are carrying out this function through specialized personnel hired within or outside the company. This paper is intended explores of identification of training needs and the different modes of conducting the training for workers and supervisors in a cigarette company.
