Abstract
Chicago - Understanding of the properties of alpha-hydroxy acid (AHA) and beta-hydroxy acid (BHA) peels allows dermatologists to use the modalities reliably to achieve epidermal exfoliation without deeper skin penetration, burning, and other adverse effects, said Zoe Draelos, M.D., at the annual meeting of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery.
