Abstract
181 The interest in mixed ligand complexes of barium bis(hexafluoroacetylacetonate) (Ba(hfa)2) with poly glymes is caused by their high volatility and the possi bility of using them as volatile precursors in the metal organic chemical vapor deposition (MOCVD) method [1]. At present time, this method is widely used in technology of fabrication of second genera tion high temperature superconductive (HTSC) wires based on yttrium barium cuprate RBa2Cu3O7 – x [2].
This novel dimeric complex of barium bis(hexafluoroacetylacetonate) with triglyme shows high volatility and potential for use as volatile precursors in the metal organic chemical vapor deposition method for fabrication of high temperature superconductive wires.
