Abstract
Catalytic hydrogenation of 3,4-dichloronitrobenzene with W-4 Raney-Ni catalyst was investigated. The operating conditions for the hydrogenation of 3,4-dichloronitrobenzene to produce 3,4-dichloroaniline were optimized. The product obtained contained more than 99% 3,4-dichloroaniline with melting point of 70~71 ℃,the amount of chlorine removed was less than 2%and the yield was 85%.
Study Snapshot
The optimized operating conditions for catalytic hydrogenation of 3,4-dichloronitrobenzene to 3,4-dichloroaniline result in a product with over 99% 3,4-dichloroaniline, low chlorine removal, and 85% yield.
