Abstract

3-Trifluoromethyl phenol is a very important intermediate of medicine and pesticide.The product was obtained from trifluoromethyl benzene through nitration,reduction,diazotization and hydrolysis.The process of synthesis was optimized and the yield and purity were improved.Also,the process of optimization was explained.
