Abstract
Tricarbonylcyclo-hexa- and -hepta-dienyliron tetrafluoroborates have been converted into the corresponding covalent iodides and hence to cyanides and dimeric complexes. The fluoroborates have also been shown to add a wide range of anions to give substituted diene complexes.
