Abstract

Alpha-(2,3-dimethoxyphenyl)-1-(2-(4-fluorophenyl) ethyl)-4-piperidine-methanol alkanoate esters R = 4−20C alkyl. The compounds are serotonin 5HT2A receptor antagonists useful for treating psychoses (e.g. schizophrenia), depression and anxiety, drug addiction, obsessive-compulsive disorders, coronary vasospasms, anorexia, fibromyalgia and arrhythmia.
