Abstract
The mechanisms of the hydrolysis and solvolysis of phosphoramidic acids have been examined. The concepts of phosphoramidates as donors of the phosphate residue in phosphorylation reactions of acids, alcohols, and amines are discussed. The use of phosphoramidates as phosphorylating agents in synthetic chemistry and also their possible involvement in biological phosphorylation processes have been demonstrated. The bibliography includes 142 references.
Phosphoramidic acids can serve as donors of phosphate residue in phosphorylation reactions, with potential involvement in synthetic chemistry and biological phosphorylation processes.
