Abstract
Thiourea is a kind of nitrification inhibitor as well as urease inhibitor. Research in overseas showed, thiourea inhibited hydrolyzation of urea, decreased the volatilization of NH3 and postponed mineralization of urea-N effectively in soils when applied with urea or UAN. Thiourea can stimulate growth of plants and increase yield.
Study Snapshot
Thiourea effectively inhibits urea hydrolysis, decreases NH3 volatilization, and delays urea-N mineralization in soils, promoting plant growth and increasing yield in agriculture.
