The bis(2,4-dihydro-2H-3-(4-N-maleimido) phenyl-1,3-benzoxazine)isopropane(BMIPBI) is prepared from maleic anhydride,p-nitroaniline,formaldehyde and 2,2-bis(4-hydroxyphenyl)propane by many steps reactions via the N-(4-nitrophenyl)maleimide(NPMI),N-(4-aminophenyl)maleimide(APMI),1,3,5-three(4-(maleimido)phenyl)-1,3,5-triazine(TMIPT) intermediates.The chemical structure of BMIPBI is confirmed by 1H NMR,FT-IR and EA.The results show that the product is the target object BMIPBI,and its solubility has been tested.The prepared BMIPBI is a loosened yellow solid,the yield of product is 58.8%.

BMIPBI is a yellow solid with a yield of 58.8%, containing maleimide and 2,2-bis(4-hydroxyphenyl)propane groups, and can be used as a lubricant in various industries.
