An improved synthesis process of 2,6-dibromo-4-trifluoromethoxy aniline,an important agrochemical intermediate,which was prepared from 4-trifluoromethoxy aniline was described.The results showed that the optimal conditions were as follows:Br2,Br2-H2O2 as brominating agents,molar ratio of Br2 to 4-trifluoromethoxy aniline 1 ∶ 1,methylene dichloride-water as solvent,reflux.The reaction yield was 97% and the purity of product was over 99.5%.

The improved synthesis process of 2,6-dibromo-4-trifluoromethoxy aniline, an important agrochemical intermediate, yields 97% reaction yield and over 99.5% purity with optimal conditions.
