Abstract
2-cholo-3-iodopyridine is an important raw material for producing 2-chloro-3-(trifluoromethyl) pyridine, which is the intermediate for the synthesis of flazasulfuron. 2-cholo-3-iodopyridine was synthesized by the process of the diazotization and the iodination from 2-chloro-3-pyridinamine. The yield of the product was about 80% and the structure was confirmed by 1H NMR and IR.
2-cholo-3-iodopyridine can be synthesized with 80% yield from 2-chloro-3-pyridinamine, providing an intermediate for the synthesis of flazasulfuron.
