Abstract
A series of structurally diverse amide derivatives of 3-[1-(3-pyridazinyl)-5-phenyl-1H-pyrazole-3yl]propanoic acids were prepared and tested for their in vivo analgesic activity using an acetic acid induced writhing test. All the test compounds displayed approximately equipotent analgesic activity to aspirin. The results showed that the analgesic activity of 5a, 5f, 5n ,a nd5o is significantly higher than that of 5d.
