Abstract
The intermediate 3,9-dichloro-2,4,8,10-tetraoxa-3,9-diphosphaspiro undecane was prepared from phosphorus trichloride and pentaerythritol with yield as high as 99.6 %. The factors affecting the reaction were discussed. The optimal reaction conditions were as follows: molar ratio of PCl_(3) /pentaerythritol was 2.5;reaction temperature was 80 ℃;reaction time was 1.5 h.
