Abstract

3-Chloro-1-(3-chloro-2-pyridinyl)-1H-pyrazole-5-formic acid(6)was prepared by hydra-zinolysis of 2,3-dichloropyridine,cyclization with diethyl maleate,and then through chlorination,oxidation and hydrolysis.Thirteen novel 3-Chloro-1-(3-chloro-2-pyridinyl)-1H-pyrazole-5-carboxamide compounds were synthesized by acyl chlorination with thionyl chloride and amidation with cyclic amine from 6.
