Abstract
The synthetic procedure of 2,6-dimethyl-4-(3-nitrophenyl)-5-methoxycarbonyl-1,4-dihydropyridine-3-carboxylic acid was modified under phase transfer catalysis.The effects of catalyst amount,reaction time and solvent on the yield were investigated.The target compound was obtained in a total yield of 81% when using methanol as solvent under 70 ℃ for 4 h.
