Abstract
Dibromo-2-Cyanoacetamide(or 2,2-dibromo-3-nitrilopionamide DBNPA)[10222-01-2] is a new biocide-algaecide and water treatmant agent. The optimal synthetic method was found in the expriment. DBNPA was prepared. efficiently by reacting CAA with Br 2 in the presence of H 2O 2. The action of H 2O 2 is that the excessive HBr produced in the reaction was transformed into Br 2 which could be recycled. Meanwhile, this paper studied the synthetic technology. The reacting temperature (80~90℃), the reacting time (20~30min), The reacting proportion (CAA:Br 2=1:1.1~1.3) were the optimal reacting conditions.
The optimal synthetic method for 2,2-Dibromo-2-Cyanoacetamide (DBNPA) is to react CAA with Br 2 in the presence of H 2O 2, resulting in a new biocide-algaecide and water treatment agent.
