Abstract
A novel α-{[(5-fluoro-2,4-dioxo-3,4-dihydropyrimidin-1-2H-yl)acetyl]amino}benzylpropanoic acid was synthesized by carbodiimide method from 5-fluorouracil-1-yl acetic acid,N,N′-dicyclohexylcarbo-diimide and L-phenylalanine using 1-hydroxybenzotrizole as an auxiliary reagent.The structure was characterized by IR and elemental analysis.
