Abstract
The ylide(4-carboxybutyl)triphenylphosphonium bromide, which was widely used in the synthesis of stereo selectivity drug, was synthesized from triphenylphosphine and 5-bromovaleric acid in the solution of acetonitrile. The structure of the product was confirmed by IR and 1HNMR.
