The clinical efficacy of hydrocortisone buteprate cream in treatment of dermatitis and eczema

Abstract
Objective:To observe the efficacy and safety of hydrocortisone buteprate cream (Pan-del) intreatment of dermatits and eczema. Methods: The randomized, controlled, open trial was conducted in 308 patients with dermatitis or eczema. They were divided to receive enternal application of Pandel tid for 3-25d (n = 188) or hydrocortisone butyrate cream tid for 3-25d. Results: The effective rate, cure rate, and incidence of adverse reaction for Pandel group were 93.6% ,77.7% , and 7.4% respectively,and for hydrocortisone butyrate cream group were 92.5% ,75.0% and 8.4% respectively . No significant difference was observed between groups in efficacy and safety (P 0. 05). Conclusion :Hydrocortisone buteprate cream is effective in treatment of dermatitis and eczema.
Hydrocortisone buteprate cream is effective and safe in treating dermatitis and eczema, with similar efficacy and safety rates compared to Pandel.
