Abstract

Methyl N-phenyl carbamate is an important material for the synthesis of methylene diphenyl diisocyanate by non-phosgene route,and it is one of promising methods that methyl N-phenyl carbamate is synthesized from dimethyl carbonate(DMC) and aniline.The reaction heat,Gibbs free energy change and equilibrium constants of the reaction are calculated by the group contribution method,and the obtained results can guide the experimental research and scale-up of the process.
