Abstract
Abstract In a double-blind crossover trial involving 49 patients, propranolol in doses of 240 mg. daily was shown to be of benefit in the relief of angina pectoris. Side effects were transient and unimportant. Absorption of propranolol is probably variable, and it may be necessary to adjust the dosage accurately for each patient.
