Abstract
Amixed oxalate Cu0.30Ni0.66Mn2.04 (C2O4)·3nH2Owas synthesized bya route of solid-state coordination reaction at room temperature, using metal acetate and oxalic acid as rawmaterials. Spinel-structured Cu0.3Ni0.66Mn2.04O4 powder with high sintering activityand a primary particle size of~150 nmwas obtained by calcining the oxalate in air at 800 ℃ for 2 h. Dense Cu0.3Ni0.66Mn2.04O4 ceramics with a relative densityas high as ~97% were achieved by sintering powder compacts at a lower temperature of 1050 ℃ for 5 h.
